TRANSFER CO. FOOD HALL’S BENCHWARMERS BAGELS NAMED TO FOOD & WINE’S BEST BAGELS IN AMERICA

Food & Wine magazine recently named Raleigh’s Benchwarmers Bagels, located downtown in Transfer Co. Food Hall, to its list of Top 50 Bagels Coast to Coast–no surprise to Raleigh residents who have bitten into one of their doughy delights.

Benchwarmers Bagels uses the highest quality fermented, heirloom grains to serve up classics and adventurous concoctions like their famous fried bologna and egg bagel. Each order is completed under the same motto, “Do your best. Don’t take yourself too seriously. Enjoy the ride.”

In 2019, Andrew Cash, Joshua Bellamy and Sam Kirkpatrick opened the shop in Transfer Co. Food Hall, bringing wood-fired bagels to Raleigh.

Like Transfer Co. Food Hall, Monarch Realty Co. is dedicated to leading downtown Raleigh’s resurgence and has recently formed a new restaurant brokerage team headed by Queen and fellow broker Kyle Hazard.
