JASON QUEEN

Jason Queen founded Monarch Realty Co. to help enhance the relationship between real estate developers, investors, brokers, buyers, and sellers. Jason holds a Master’s in Urban Planning and Placemaking, an MBA in Financial Management, and has 16 years of real estate experience. He joined the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Preservation North Carolina in 2010, aiding in historic preservation advocacy across the nation.

Jason has developed Transfer Co Food Hall and The Work Hall, and also has over 75,000 sq. ft. of adaptive reuse developments in the works. Jason is a city council-appointed member of Raleigh’s new downtown master plan committee, a member of Preservation North Carolina and the Urban Land Institute, and a downtown Raleigh business and homeowner.

Design director of Monarch Property Co., and Broker with Monarch Realty Co., Jeanne has been part of Monarch from the start. She has a wealth of experience in floor plan and kitchen design and has been putting her talents into our historic restorations, new construction and renovations for years.

Tiffany Alexy

Raised in Cary, NC, Tiffany has seen firsthand how the Triangle has grown and changed in the past 3 decades. She first got a taste for real estate when she purchased her first home and investment property and “house hacked” in 2011. After obtaining her license in 2013, she began growing her business organically through referrals and word-of-mouth. Tiffany now has multiple investment properties throughout the Triangle and has sold over $50 million since the beginning of her career. When she’s not selling real estate, you can find her riding horses and checking out local restaurants and coffee shops.

Genesis Alvarez

Raised in North Carolina since 1999, I have gained knowledge in the triangle area and surroundings as well as developed customer services skills to focus and cater to my clients needs and expectations. As a mother of 3 beautiful children , entrepreneur and now a real estate broker I love staying busy and helping others. My greatest strength is that I love to challenge myself to achieve all set goals. When I’m not working I enjoy traveling and spending time with family.

WES BLAYLOCK

Wes Blaylock is a native of Wilson, North Carolina, and also lived in Durham, Chapel Hill, and Rocky Mount before establishing roots in Raleigh in 2002. Prior to real estate, Wes worked in environmental consulting for more than a decade, where he conducted property inventories for the EPA Brownfields program, performed environmental assessments, and helped clients with property transactions. This work led Wes to recognize his strength and passion for residential real estate, where he has helped clients buy and sell homes since 2015.

Christina Chianelli

As a longtime Raleigh resident raising her three children here, Christina has come to know and love the Triangle area and its surroundings. Before moving to Raleigh, Christina lived in Charleston, SC; Knoxville, TN; and St. Louis, MO. Christina’s passion for real estate grew out of her interest in the evolution of the urban areas in which she lived and a focus on how modern cities grow with their rich histories.

Originally from Southwest Florida, Kelsey has a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, and has been living and working in Downtown Raleigh since her graduation in 2012. After nearly fifteen years in the hospitality and service industry, she knows the value of hard work and enjoys meeting and working with new people from all over the world.

Sabina Jackson, originally from Poland, moved to Chicago after graduating college where she met her husband and lived for many years before moving with three children to North Carolina. Sabina has been passionate about real estate ever since she purchased her first home in the Chicago market. The experience of moving her family several times gives her client a great advantage in finding their ideal home location in the Triangle area.

DANA JEFFREYS

My husband and I purchased our first investment property at the Dawson on Morgan in 2005. We understood where Raleigh was headed and we wanted to get in on the ground floor of the emergence of a modern culturally diverse city, with its influx of restaurants, bars, corporations and luxury real estate.

Elizabeth Jordan

Elizabeth joined Monarch Realty Co. after earning her real estate license in the Spring of 2021, and brings a background in public policy, non-profit administration and project management. She has worked for Habitat for Humanity, advocated for living wages and affordable housing policies, founded a local non-profit, and organized international events.

As Monarch Realty Co.’s Director of Sales, Elizabeth supports our brokers and focuses on partnership management, market analysis and lead generation. When she’s not chasing leads or supporting the team, Elizabeth enjoys exploring Raleigh, the city she has called home for over 20 years, with her three children, two dogs, friends and extended family.

LEX-JORDAN IBEGBU

Lex-Jordan Ibegbu was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a result, he has deep ties within the NC community. At the age of 14, Ibegbu was awarded a full scholarship to Cary Academy High School. After graduating from Cary Academy, he was awarded a full scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Carolina Covenant Scholar. Ibegbu graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a major in Political Science, and a double minor in Music and Drama. He was accepted to the University Of Miami School of Law where he was awarded the James Weldon Johnson Fellowship. In addition, Ibegbu was a Becker & Poliakoff Diversity Scholarship Recipient.

Sarah Kennedy

Originally from Georgia, Sarah relocated to North Carolina with her family in 2013. Sarah always knew she wanted to create a path committed to helping others, and found her calling in real estate serving her clients and guiding them through one of the biggest investments of their lives. Under Monarch Realty, Kimberly focuses on brokering land sales and urban land assemblage. Kimberly actively serves the local Raleigh community. She is the past Chair of the City of Raleigh’s Parks, Recreation, and Greenway Advisory Board, and is also a past member of the Wake County Planning Board. She is currently serving on NC State’s Board of Visitors. She has also served communities internationally, building homes in Cambodia and Guatemala.

EDWARD STRICKLAND

Edward has lived in North Carolina his entire life. His passion for the real estate business began when he spent significant time building and growing his land surveying firm which he owns for over 23 years. He designed numerous subdivisions, which included property and home layouts while obtaining approval from planning departments and developers. He has also been a successful landlord and real estate investor for over 20 years.

Asiegbu Ujah

Asiegbu Ujah was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He moved to the state capital, Raleigh, NC, and has been a resident for over 10 years. As a result, he has deep ties within the North Carolina community. Asiegbu founded Young Africans of the Triangle, a non-profit organization 4 years ago. This organization serves not only the African community professionals but other nationalities with guidance in the RDU Triangle Area. He has gained knowledge of the Triangle area, developed customer services skills, and strives to surpass expectations of his clients. As a leader in this community, Asiegbu will make the sales process seamless!

Abbey Fay Weispfenning

As a former teacher and assistant principal, Abbey brings knowledge of local school systems and a love of data analysis to the Monarch Team. Having watched her mother (a top-selling agent) and father (a luxury home builder) navigate the industry, she understands the value of a knowledgeable and passionate agent.

Abbey prides herself on meticulous attention to detail and ensuring her clients understand every step of the home-buying and selling process. When she’s not selling real estate you can find her volunteering at a local school or checking out breweries, parks/greenways, and museums with her husband and three young daughters.

BRIAN WHITESIDE

As Monarch Realty’s newest addition, Brian is thrilled to help establish the company’s presence in Wilmington and the coastal markets of southeastern North Carolina. A Wilmington resident since 2008, Brian is a North Carolina native – born and raised in Asheville – and passionate about helping people discover all that this amazing state has to offer.

CECILIA ZUVIC

Deeply rooted in our Monarch tribe, Cecilia has been a long-time family friend, and even had her wedding officiated by Monarch broker Matthew Fitzgerald. When asked about her passions, Cecilia quickly replied, “The three F’s – family, friends, and food.” We think that downtown Raleigh has a lot of folks that share this sentiment, as is obvious by the direction that the city’s growth is taking.
