Established in the 1920s and named after Sir Walter Raleigh’s birthplace, Hayes Barton reflects numerous architectural styles including Colonial Revival, Georgian Revival, and Tudor Revival. This neighborhood stands out for its large lots with beautifully set-back homes and open park areas dotting the neighborhood.

Today, Hayes Barton is part of the neighborhoods collectively known as Five Points, and residents enjoy walking to long-standing neighborhood establishments, as well as between each of the beautiful historic neighborhoods.
